Las Vegas Raiders fans popped champagne ahead of their incredible meltdown against the Arizona Cardinals

TIMING is not everyone’s forte.

Late in the third quarter, a field goal from Daniel Carlson gave them a 23-7 lead, and Sunday was looking good for the Raiders fans at Allegiant Stadium.

While their side appeared to be idle, a group of (probable) Raiders fans were seen popping several bottles of champagne behind the goal and showering the end zone.

However, as it turns out, her timing couldn’t have been worse to be a prime example of partying too soon.

The Raiders then capitulated.

The Cardinals shifted up a gear and scored fourteen unanswered points to tie the game.

And while the Raiders got a lifeline in overtime when the Cardinals failed to score on their opening run, Las Vegas couldn’t take advantage of it.

Las Vegas’ only overtime drive resulted in a fumble that was returned for a touchdown by Arizona as the game ended 29-23

That means new head coach Josh McDaniels had a start to forget in Las Vegas, starting the 2022 NFL season 0-2.

The adage may be “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” but alas for these overly excited fans – it seems unlikely anyone will let them forget this colossal blunder in timing for a while.
