Rita Ora addresses Taika Waititi and Tessa Thompson for “triple” photos
Rita Ora thought rumors that she and Taika Waititi were in a “threesome” with Tessa Thompson were “ridiculous”.
The “For You” singer addressed the viral photos in the new issue interview with British GQexplaining that she chose to “not confirm” the headlines to make them disappear.
“I think when some things are so absurd and it’s hard to make any sense, you just have to ignore it,” she said. “I’ve taken this approach to a lot of things because you don’t want to spend your energy on something that doesn’t exist.
“It’s like trying to explain something that didn’t happen, meaning you’re not feeding anything,” Ora, 32, added.
The ‘Twist’ actress compared the booze-filled moment on a balcony in Sydney to a drunken night where everyone becomes ‘best friends’.
“And then the next day you say, ‘I’ve been talking to this person in the smoking area for four hours and I have no idea who they are? Literally – it [photo] she was just a group of friends having a good time,” she explained.
“They [Taika and Tessa] he had a crazy schedule and everyone was letting loose. I love it. Everyone on their own.
Despite the madness surrounding the photos, Ora found solace in the fact that her LGBTQIA+ supporters praised her for normalizing same-sex PDAs.
“The good news, however, is that when I spoke to my fans on Twitter, all of my unbelievable LGBTQIA+ fans were like, actually – whether it’s true or not – I’m so inspired that this is being publicly normalized.” common.
“It really made me happy. You don’t know who it affects.
In some photos that hit the internet in May 2021, Ora kissed Waititi’s then-boyfriend. (They are reportedly married now.)
In another photo, she sat with her nose touching the 39-year-old Thompson while the “Creed” star rested her legs on Ora’s lap. The 47-year-old Jojo Rabbit director could also be seen wrapping her arms around Thompson’s leg while the actress held his arm.
A few months later, Waititi dismissed the paintings as “no big deal”.
“I think everything is passing quickly in the world of the internet.” – Director of “Thor: Love and Thunder.” told the Sydney Morning Herald.
“And also, ‘Is it such a big deal?’ No, not really. I haven’t done anything wrong. All right.”
